Interior test rendering. I used Portal lights, Env Sun&Sky, GI/FG. Composited in Fusion 5. It renders in about 20 minutes on my Q6600. Models taken from Archmodels library. I' ve done shading/texturing (everything is mia mat), lighting, rendering and final compositing where i added some glow, sharpen filter, occlusion, little color correction on the wine, and also added the reflection in the windows and the sea behind. My intention was to render an Archinteriors scene that in VRay renders in 12 hours and see how faster i could do the job in Mental Ray. Everything has been done in 2 days. As always i'm more concerned on the mood, but i try to keep times low as well. I can surely bring this down to a couple of minutes on PAL resolution and will try an animation as soon as i have the time.
